The project is in charge of ABWB architects and consists in several residential buildings with apartments from 95 to 140 m2. The ability of divide or add units inside of each building provide the possibility of create seven different products.
ABWB asked me to design those buildings. The challenge was that the client wanted them to look like ‘casonas’ which is the traditional house in the south of the country. They are typically big houses with German influence and characteristic roofs and windows. We first investigated the original style and its characteristics; then, trying many options and configurations we got some patterns that could be adapted to our needs. They had to look like a big house rather than a building.
